How is Sprint cellular? Anyone?
Currently my family all have phones on a Verizon family plan. We want to go droid smart phones but Verizon charges $30 extra per smart phone and sprint's family plan is cheaper, and on top of that only charges $10 extra per smart phone, and offers 5GB data per device over Verizon's 2GB. Also thinking about getting a tablet of some kind with a data plan.
Anyone have any recent experience with Sprint? Got any recommendations on an android smart phone? My only stipulation is that it have a qwerty keyboard. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

I love having sprint.....so much better than AT&T in my opinion....
As for the phones I have the EVO which is badass and I do believe there is a slide out keyboard version.

Forget a slide out keyboard, my droid has one and i now hate it after getting used to touch screen keyboard. The slide out makes it heavy as shit, and now that I don't use it, completely fucking worthless. Mine is a Tmobile G2. Love the droid, wish I didn thave the added weight/thickness though of the keyboard. _________________ K-SWISS Power cologne. Who knew you could bottle the scent of boner?

I haven't had a physical keyboard for 4 years and haven't missed it a day since then. The idea of one is great, the execution is not. The buttons are too small, there are too many, and they will never be dynamic enough to keep up with the software that uses them.

thanks for the opinions, i think my Verizon contract ends sometime in December, so it will still be a while before we make the move.
Not sure about the tablet. I may just get a galaxy tab 10.1 through sprint right now... wanting to give my daughter one before she starts college next week. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

Tablets are over rated - I would give her a laptop for college.....plus all colleges are wired for free wifi - so paying for 3g/4g seems like a waste to me......
And wow - college - you are getting old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ K-SWISS Power cologne. Who knew you could bottle the scent of boner?

LOL thanks guys. Someday. Things are a lot different without my daughter around, and its been pretty hard letting go. Maybe a good LAN party will help? *shrug* heh
As it turns out her school is NOT ready for eBooks text books yet and so the whole point of getting her a tablet to not have to lug around books is kinda moot now. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.
