the registration is a tax.....when you register they break the fee down into things like road upkeep and City park funds.....although I am not sure Oklahoma has ever heard of road maintenance
EDIT: Its late and I think I totally just missed the sarcasm in your post man.... _________________ Core I7 4790K @ 4.7 Ghz

what are the rules for lost titles or salvage titles?
could you set the title on fire and apply for one of those to dodge that? that is really a scummy way to assess registration fees.

So I went to a different tag agency yesterday to go ahead and pay for it. I figured I'd already done all the work so I didn't really have a choice. Imagine my surprise when I only had to pay $100... So apparently the guy at the first place either didn't know what he was talking about or he was trying to scam me (the tag agents make a commission on the amount they bring in to the state).....
Makes you wonder....

Wow. You should report them.
They're appointed by state senators, don't bother.

Different tag agencies, while you may be logical, are not. When I registered my PT Cruiser, I had gone to one tag agency, and they told me it would be $600+. When I went to another tag agency, it was $163. Some shit huh? _________________ Blargle Flarg Bergah Merg
