I'm currently planning to build a budget gaming pc. I'm wondering if a AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor AM3 will fit in a Mobo that has a Am2 slot? I'm trying to do this cheap,hence the need to buy lower grade items.

Won't work in AM2, should work in AM2+
