will it play on both monitors? i still want to do dual or triple monitor gaming someday. Sad

spanning is... odd. i tried it after my last format, and it basically treats both displays as one giant display. dialogue boxes slated for the center of the display ended up being cut in half, maximized windows opened to both monitors, etc. quirky stuff, but it's irritating nonetheless.

With my ATi card I could play on both screens, but I can do that with my nvidia too. However if its in only one window, you don't get a performance drop with Nvidia cards.

yeah, I would think that treating both displays as one would cause problems. now, on a triple monitor system, it might be nice, but on dual, the center of the screen should be on a monitor

And my Nvidia has options so that you can circumvent this and open it in the center of either monitor.

Domino, what a fucking joke of an Exchange Server. I'd rather run Exchange Server. Qmail ++ 50 modules == the way to go Wink

I hate to say it, but Domino has been ROCK solid, and unlike exchange/outlook, most viruses dont use it to propagate. I've been administering a Domino Server contiguously for over 10 years at one place or another, and all I can say is, it works. Period. A tad on the expencive side tho when you can "throw up" a nix box and a free email server. There is something to be said about ease of administration and also ease of use for the end user. My Free Pegasis Mail server at home is fine for 3 people to use, but not much more than that.

Hey Shinare. What program is that there on the bottom of the screen, reporting system stats and such?

whenever I'm doing things via the terminal, I typically have about 10 windows. I like to have each one on a desktop unless they are related then I use them tabbed.

Yes it is. I'm using a program called "Amusing Misuse Of Resources." AMOR. It has a Neko the cat plugin. It sits at the top of whatever the active window is and if the top is at the top of your desktop it sits on the task bar. When I switch desktops Neko stays like the window was still there until I fully switch.
