Which one is better?  Reply with quote

Right now I have a WD 120GB SE, its a good drive but what about Maxtor?

Im looking to get an External drive, possibly 250GB.

Can't decide, the Maxtor is hella cheaper but would it be worth buying?

mmmm....X15....

actually the IBM Z15s aren't bad for workstations. they don't perform like X15s but for the money you can't gripe too much. I have 4 18GB Z15s in a RAID5 array on my server at home and they put the rubber to the road fairly well. I think you can snag the 18s for about $85 now.
