Position Profile: The Standley Systems Help Desk Specialist will provide phone support for clients with technical and functional assistance. This position will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.
Requirements:
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of digital copy machines and scanners
• Experience with IP addresses and installing network drivers
• Understanding of network fundamentals
• Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with copier, printer and solution problems
• Resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise permits while using the available tools
• Uses advanced troubleshooting skills
• Courteously obtain and convey concise problem information for internal service personnel
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation and maintain communication with customers during the problem resolution process
• Utilizes superior customer service skills
• Solve problems in Windows and Macintosh platforms with equal proficiency
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Standley Systems supported products and services
• Work with the Customer Support Group to identify available solutions that will enhance and improve support delivered to the customer
• Review and update Help Desk documentation as assigned
