Whats the must get Christmas gift this year?
I feel like I have been "out of it" for so long... Not sure what "big" present to get my kids this year.
Thinking about getting a Nexus 10 for my daughter at OSU... Not sure anymore what kind of stuff she's in to as she's basically moved out and changed a lot in the last couple years, heh. I figure a tablet is this year's big (techno) thing and its pretty generic.
Not sure about my 12 yo son. I got him Soul Caliber V on the PS3 a week ago and he is instantly Soul Caliber everything... Maybe something in the same vein? He seems to be getting into that "Anime" mindset. He listens to Anime Radio and Kawaii Radio on "TuneIn Radio", is drawing Anime, loves Soul Caliber... etc... I never really got into Anime much. Any other good "Anime" type games or other things? Maybe a Wii U?

PS> I usually get myself something that's "hot" technology wise and I feel like I'm not really going to do that this year. Maybe I will get myself a 64GB mSD card for my phone, heh. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

Speaking for your own gift... How about a PC for gaming, and I dunno.... some games, so you could attend a LAN. _________________ Advocating the end of the world since July 1995.

The thought had occurred to me to update my rather old system but I hardly use my PC at home anymore, maybe once a month, if that. Its all tablets, cell phones, and ball bearings anymore. I need a refresher course. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

I've already tried it out and its just not what I would call a "good upgrade". _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

Uh, yah... to say the least. I know I sound like a crotchety old goat (no offense Goathead) but Microsoft should have stopped making OS's at WinXP and just further developed it and server 2003... sirios. Don't get me wrong, I like Win7 but its a daily support pain in my ass here at work, and WinXP was no problems.
I miss Windows XP and Server 2003R2 days. _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.
