I think most LED case fans are on or off.....fan speed doesn't have any effect on their brightness. I got several of the below and really like them. Good air flow, and the LED's are not super blinding bright.

I'm on the other side of that fence, I think lowering the voltage to your fans WILL decrease the intensity of the LED's in the fans. *shrug* _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

I have a fan controller on mine (4 of them) and the brightness is the same at all fan speeds. _________________ K-SWISS Power cologne. Who knew you could bottle the scent of boner?

Coolio, maybe its different for different fans. In the past the voltage I sent to an LED changed the brightness of said LED... *shrug* Current is really what changes the brightness, but decreasing voltage decreases current, right? _________________ For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.

It varies by the design and make of the fan. So really its a toss up if it dims or not..... _________________ Core I7 4790K @ 4.7 Ghz

i found some bitfenix fans that work separately but im afraid to drill a hole in my face plate, dont want mess it up but it would allow me to put the pci slot hydra on a front bay cover to turn on and off leds on the spetere fans they make.
