But it sucks doesnt it? I heard it was horrid game. Sad UT2k4 still is best in series IMHO.

I don't know, I've never played it. I didn't want to pay $50 for it when it came out.
Now that it's <$10 I think I can try it out.
(Assuming it works under WINE, anyway. That's next on my check list.)

I have UT3, I've purchased 3 copies for myself, and several more for friends as gifts, and while I still agree with the consensus out there that UT2k4 is still the better game, I can't fault it for being a good $10 LAN game that is fun to play and personally I think the graphics are nice.

There's a lot of hate for the game but most of it is fairly unfounded and has been for a long time. Originally the UI was just awful and near unusable along with A LOT of balance issues among other things, but really it is a great game now.

The main problem is that the online community basically shunned it into basically not existing.
