Diablo 3 Auction House Closing March 18, 2014  Reply with quote  

Apparently the Real Money auction house and the Gold auction house will be shut down on March 18, 2014. I'm very surprised. Though I never really cared for it or really used it to begin with it seems strange to do this. I never noticed such a backlash from Tf2 doing it. What are you guys thoughts, or has the damage to Diablo been done.

As someone who enjoyed diablo 3 (and made it to level 100), I understand this decision. It was kind of like using a cheat code, I don't think I switched gear the last 40 levels and so the game became boring.

It will be interesting to see if the expansion somehow resets the playing field.
