SBS2003 - SBS2011 Migration Question  Reply with quote

Does anybody know anything about migrating SBS servers?
I'm migrating an old SBS2003 to a new SBS2011 box.
I'm doing mostly fine, but the migration prep tool says I need to install Exchange SP2. However, the client doesn't use Exchange at all.
Is this something I can ignore and continue the migration?
Or do I need to address it somehow? Install Exchange & ExchSP2?
I don't wanna jack it up.

Thanks fellas,

Moose

Small Business Server already has Exchange (and SQL) installed. They are limited versions but its kind of an 'all in one' solution.

Yeah. What I had not mentioned is they had chosen not to install Exchange during the install of SBS2003. IDK why. But I ended up having to install Exchange and then the migration tool finished just fine and I'm on my way.
