Windows defrag  Reply with quote

My XP machine at work is giving me fits trying to defrag. Right now it is showing 29% file fragmentation.

You should defragment this volume.

If I try and run a defrag it goes for about 5 minutes and then finishes with no change. I've tried running it with the -f option with no change.

I don't have admin on this box, defrag is being run from the SMS console.

Any ideas?
