Finished Games  Reply with quote

What are the top five games in terms of enjoyment (gameplay, immersion, story-line, etc) that you have played from start to finish. Don't include the game unless you have finished it.

Unfortunately I seem to rarely start-to-finish a game; I usually do at least 50% though.

1) Prince of Persia - Sands of Time
2) Need for Speed Underground
3) Heavenly Sword
4) Darksiders
5) Metal Gear Solid 4

Finish? How do you finish a multiplayer game? I guess I finished the last match I played in BFBC2 or BLOPs.

BFBC2 had a single player campaign. No idea what the hell BLOPs is.

The top 3 all still hold about the same point in my list.
1) Mass Effect Series (so far anyway, still have a game to go, but I have several saves that will have followed me all the way through)
2) Fallout 3
3) Chrono Trigger (And if you haven't played it, you can't call yourself a gamer. I do own 2 legit copies (SNES and DS) and can loan you one if you haven't played it)
4) Alien Swarm (If you haven't played it, it's free. What the hell are you waiting for>>http://store.steampowered.com/app/630/?snr=1_4_4__13)
5) Portal (I've not finished 2. I've heard it's epic, but I got stuck a couple epic times... and so I'm taking a sabatical from it.
6 (Honorable mention)) Xarian, legend of (SNES)(Deserves mention because it was fun, and had a very interesting ending.)

I'm sure I've missed something, but that's my list as of this morning.

Is this something than can be played co-op at a LAN party, or is it over internet only?

1) Metal Gear Solid 4- I'm a huge MGS fan, have been for years. This game had me in tears multiple times during the course of the game.

2) Portal 1/2- The enigmatic nature of these games have me hooked when I play them.

3) Killing Arthas, WoW:WotLK- It's a MMO, I don't care, but killing the corrupted prince from WC3 finally was amazingly executed. This actually had proper cut scenes and story. Might as well have "beat the game" with this one.

4) Battletoads- If you've beat this, you know what I'm trying to say.

5) Half Life- nuff said.

You can do friend only games, but I think it might still want an internet connection.
