MySql

I am having problems with trying to get this damn thing back up. I updated to the new MySql in hopes that it would fix a connection error. I can not understand why it worked perfect pre lion install and now has shit out. I found the original database files and cannot for the life of me figure out how to load them in since I don't have a backup like a dumb ass. I would have backed up but ZenCart can't connect to the database. How can I take the files that were in the previous version of ZenCart and make the new version use them. I can see it is all there. Just no clue how to do it.

Do you have something like phpMyAdmin installed or a desktop MySQL manager application? Those don't require a database to be up and running in order to connect. Attaching DB files, etc, is usually done from a terminal window but I've never done it on a Mac so I can't give you much advice other than pointing you to Google.

I had phpmyadmin crash with the database. I'll try the other. Thanks!
