I had a author call me and want a basic website. I can program the basic website she wants with no problem. I am unfamiliar though with what is the best cheapest thing to use to allow her to sell her books online. Any suggestions?

ZenCart

+Authorize.net, Googlecheckout, paypal for payment processing.

Use Google Base feeder to feed into Google Shopping.

Here are some different (simpler) approaches.

www.storenvy.com

Storenvy is a community marketplace where all stores use the same website.

www.bigcartel.com

BigCartel is a place you can have your own store, edit the css to your hearts content, and for a relatively cheap fee use your own domain name, etc.

Neither one of these really requires you to do anything in terms of integration or setting up of shopping carts, eCommerce systems, etc.

If you don't want to mess with the code, e-junkie.com is $5 and handles all electronic delivery. I use it for some stuff and it works awesome.

I remember you talking about zin cart one time. I will look at that as well. I like the sound of that too Atomm. I don't want to have to debug. That is worth $5 for sure.
