dear god.

on my old laptop, i would print these catalogs of photos (2 photos per page, like 100 pages) that would be like 600-700mb in the print queue.
this would take like 30 minutes to an hour on my laptop.

i just printed one on the new rig, it was a 480mb jobber. it took TWO MINUTES.

PC wouldn't turn on today....flipped the PSU switch off and on, tried again, smelled burning.

PSU was hotter than ass.

picked up a PSU from BestBuy and tossed it in

my vid card is toast. literally.





not sure if it's the PSU now....but hell i'll send it back too.

i'm up and running with the old GF6200 though

XFX support is responding pretty promptly, hopefully I'll have an RMA number today and I can get this thing shipped off!


Might pick up another card in the meantime so I can game at the LAN, and then when the old card gets back -- SLI!

oh, i got my card back btw

they sent me a retail boxed 8600GTS 730MHz 256MB instead of the 7900GS Smile

no complaints here!
