Location

Come Join Us for The OKGG LAN Each Month! The Oklahoma Gamer's Group holds it's LAN Party on the THIRD Saturday of each month. Since we do experience location changes you should ALWAYS read the forum or home page NEWS topic to see where we are each month. Approximate set-up time for the staff is 10:00am. Officially we start gaming around 11:00am. (You are welcome to show up at set-up time and help the staff if you wish, and get a good seat.) We usually play until 12:00am or until there are 4 or less players remaining.

For now we are at the Yukon Round-Up Club located at 600 East Main, Yukon, OK 73199. easy to access from I-44 (Kilpatrick Turnpike) and Highway 66. Access to local restaurants, plenty of parking. Refrigerator for drinks in building. Outdoor smoking. For a map and driving directions, Click Here.

Check-In

You MUST check-in and PAY your $10 admission fee BEFORE setting up equipment. Any gamer who is registered but does not check-in or pre-pay before noon on the day of the LAN may lose their seat to waiting gamers, so make sure to be there by noon or arrange to pre-pay by contacting our staff.

Food is available all around the area for lunch and dinner.

Please note: If you have come to our LAN's in the past, we have had space for as many as 50-120 players, however, at your request, we are scaling down to make it a more friendly atmosphere. So there is currently space for only 20 gamers! Sign-up early to assure your seat! We'll clear the roster within a day or two of each LAN. If we fill the house every month, we will improve the power in the building to allow for up to 40-50 players a month, it's up to you how big this LAN gets.

We are also going back to our original "By the Gamer, For the Gamer" philosophy. Your input determines the direction of each LAN. We'll be haing random team selections sometimes for tournies, and others will allow pre-formed teams. We'll do casual tournies for bragging rights, and the occasional tournie for prizes. So come back and join the fun each month. It's you LAN, and it works because of you.

We also offer T-Shirts for $15 and Badges with Lanyards and your NIC and name on them for $3.

Staff members are available to assist you in connecting your computer to the LAN. You should set your network connection to DHCP, No WINS.

PLEASE take care not to damage or walk on cables, clean up your area and table before you leave, do not leave the patch cables end laying on the floor where it can be damaged. Network patch cables are provided for your convenience, but you should bring a surge strip if you need more than 2 outlets.
